Luc is a highly creative medicinal chemist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. His expertise is in the design of bioactive small molecules with a fast track record from new chemical lead identifications to lead optimizations. He has delivered and co-delivered 8 pre-clinical candidates. Additionally, he was a key contributor for 3 clinical candidates for first-in-class medicines in infectious diseases with the approved HCV drug INCIVEK (VX-950), Influenza Inhibitor Phase IIa VX-353 and in inflammation with Phase IIb Decernotinib (VX-509). Luc also has track record research productivity as demonstrated by the publication of 29 papers in peer-reviewed journals and 35 patents.
